Welcome to Oakhurst Medical Centers, where we care about your health. Oakhurst is a community based not for profit primary health care center. We have been providing quality, affordable, culturally sensitive and accessible healthcare to the residents of DeKalb County for twenty-four (24) years since opening our doors in 1980. We are ordinary people committed to an extraordinary mission of improving the quality of life in the communities we serve with a special focus on the healthcare needs of the medically indigent and underinsured residents of DeKalb County and surrounding communities. Our mission is centered on improving the quality of life of those whom we serve by healing our community one home at a time.
Oakhurst's commitment to excellence has been reaffirmed by its successful award of accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations in 2002. Our ability to serve a culturally diverse community is facilitated by Oakhurst's culturally and linguistically diverse staff, representing different nationalities including Pakistan, Panama, Somalia, Nigeria, Rwanda and the United States.

Oakhurst provides a complete array of primary healthcare services for all of the life cycles inclusive of Prenatal, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Mental Health and Eldercare. As a Federally Qualified Community Health Center, Oakhurst's services are provided on a sliding fee scale (according to income and family size) to all who enter our doors. In a society here the availability of and access to medical care is becoming a daily challenge for a growing portion of the population, Oakhurst is uniquely situated to respond to this need.
