Jeffrey Q. Taylor, Chief Executive Office
Mr. Taylor became Chief Executive Officer of Oakhurst Medical Centers in November, 2005 after serving as Interim CEO for 6 months. He joined Oakhurst from Southside Medical Center where he served as Chief Financial Officer for over five years. Mr. Taylor brings over 18 years of combined experience in finance and operations in the healthcare, public accounting and manufacturing industries. He received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia State University and became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 1989 after sitting for the CPA exam and serving at Deloitte & Touche for 3 years..
Raulina Uzzle, Medical Director
Dr. Uzzle became Medical Director of Oakhurst Medical Centers in December 2001. She joined Oakhurst in September 2000. She completed her undergraduate studies at Furman University and obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. She began her residency training at Baptist Medical Center and the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama in Anesthesiology. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a member of the National Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Physician Executives, and she is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician.
Delesha Watts, Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Watts joined Oakhurst as Chief Financial Officer in November 2007. She completed her Baccalaureate of Science degree in Accounting from Jacksonville State University and completed a Masters in Business Administration with a Certification in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. Ms. Watts has several years of accounting and finance experience including public accounting (auditing), health care (Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (McKing Consulting, Inc.), and commercial financing.
Anthony Young,MSN, RN, Director of Nursing
Mr. Anthony F. Young has been a healthcare provider for the past eight years. He functioned as a nursing assistant during his last year in nursing school. In 2001, he completed a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Maryland School of Nursing. He has practiced as a registered nurse for the past seven years in a variety of areas, ranging from bedside care with cancer patients to research nursing. In an effort to advance his knowledge and career, he pursued a Master?s of Science degree in Nursing with a concentration in Public Health Nursing. In 2005, he completed his Master?s degree at Emory University School of Nursing. Since the completion of his Master?s degree, he has taken on career advancing experiences as an instructor, nurse educator and clinical supervisor. Currently, Mr. Young is employed at Oakhurst Medical Centers, Inc. as the Director of Nursing. In this role he oversees the daily clinical operations of the facility and ensures continuous compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. .
